Half of 2018 is gone already! The older I get, the faster time goes by. We typically see a dip in sales as everyone gets settled into their school routine, but I expect an increase before dropping for the holidays.
In July we saw 38 properties hit the market, which is down from June but still fairly decent. In July 2017 we saw 37 properties hit the market, so we are trending a bit above last year.
When priced right, property is still moving quickly. If you are looking to sell, the fall market could prove the perfect time. Buyer's are out there looking before interest rates climb again. Prices in Lindenhurst continue to trend upward as we head in the fall. Good news for us! I am almost able to sell what I bought for in 2006!! So Exciting.
